No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here.
The Good Samaritan Home (affectionately, The Home) gives our residents opportunities to live life to their fullest potential. The Home is an industry leader among not-for-profit senior living communities and memory care. The largest facility in the area, we serve 150 older adults in southwestern Indiana. From the admission of our first residents in 1962, the Home has a rich tradition of commitment to seniors. Our residents have choices in their lifestyle options and activities, providing the utmost fulfillment in their daily living.
What started out as a small nursing care facility has grown to become so much more. We offer Residential or Independent Living Apartments, Three Memory Care Neighborhoods (Pathway’s I & Pathway’s II All Male Unit and Pathway’s Pavilion), Long-Term Care nursing services for the more critically ill residents, and Intermediate Care. We provide Skilled Nursing Services to our residents as well as to those in the community who have had a 3-day hospital stay and are eligible to use their Medicare Part A benefits for a rehab stay.
As everyone knows, socialization is a very important aspect of our quality of life. The Good Samaritan Home has a socially-oriented Activity Department. All residents and their families are invited and encouraged to participate in our activity program. There are a variety of programs such as Ceramics and Painting, Resident Council, Exercise Programs, Religious Services, Planned Facility Outings, Music Entertainment, Bingo, and more.
